Tradesperson Agreement

Effective Date: 31/03/2026

By registering, subscribing, or being listed on Rossendale Trades Hub, you (“the Tradesperson” / “the Business”) agree to the following terms:

1. Independent Contractor Status

All tradespeople listed on Rossendale Trades Hub operate as independent businesses.
You are not an employee, partner, or representative of Rossendale Trades Hub.

Rossendale Trades Hub acts solely as a platform to connect customers with tradespeople.

2. Accuracy of Information

You agree that all information provided, including:

  • Business name
  • Contact details
  • Services offered
  • Qualifications and experience

is accurate, truthful, and kept up to date at all times.

We reserve the right to amend or remove any misleading or incorrect information.

3. Responsibility for Work

You accept full responsibility for:

  • All work carried out
  • The quality and standard of your services
  • Health and safety compliance
  • Customer interactions and conduct

All agreements, quotes, and contracts are strictly between you and the customer.

4. Liability Disclaimer

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Rossendale Trades Hub does not carry out, supervise, or guarantee any work
  • Rossendale Trades Hub accepts no liability for:
    • Work undertaken by you
    • Any damages, losses, or disputes
    • Customer dissatisfaction or claims

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rossendale Trades Hub against any claims arising from your services.

5. Insurance & Legal Compliance

You confirm that you:

  • Hold valid public liability insurance (where applicable)
  • Have any required qualifications, certifications, or licences
  • Comply with all relevant UK laws and regulations

Failure to meet these requirements may result in removal from the platform.

6. Conduct & Standards

You agree to:

  • Act professionally and honestly at all times
  • Provide services as described
  • Treat customers fairly and respectfully

Rossendale Trades Hub reserves the right to remove listings where:

  • There are repeated complaints
  • Poor service is evidenced
  • These terms are breached

7. Subscription & Listings

Listings may be subject to a paid subscription.

By subscribing, you agree that:

  • Fees must be paid in advance
  • Listings may be suspended for non-payment
  • Subscriptions may be cancelled in accordance with our Subscription Policy

8. No Guarantee of Work

Rossendale Trades Hub does not guarantee:

  • Leads, enquiries, or work
  • Business growth or income

The platform is a marketing service only.

9. Right to Suspend or Remove

Rossendale Trades Hub reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or remove your listing
  • Cancel your subscription
  • Refuse service

at its discretion, without liability.

10. Use of Content

You grant Rossendale Trades Hub permission to use:

  • Your business name
  • Logo
  • Images and descriptions

for promotional and marketing purposes.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By registering, subscribing, or remaining listed on Rossendale Trades Hub, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
