We're doing something a little different to help get Rossendale Trades Hub and the local businesses within it seen across Rossendale.

We're looking for a minimum of 16 local businesses to join us on a 12-month bus advertising campaign, with the logos of the businesses involved featured alongside the Rossendale Trades Hub branding.

The idea is simple:

A bus covered with local businesses, travelling around Rossendale for 12 months.

It gives the businesses involved additional local exposure while also helping us build awareness of Rossendale Trades Hub and what we're trying to achieve for local trades and customers.

What Will My Business Get?

If you join the bus campaign, your business logo will be included within the advertising alongside Rossendale Trades Hub.

Your business will benefit from:

• 12 months of advertising on a local bus
• Your business logo featured alongside other local trades and businesses
• Exposure to people travelling around Rossendale
• Additional awareness for your business locally
• Being part of a campaign promoting local businesses working together
• FREE additional advertising through other RTH promotional opportunities already booked

This isn't replacing anything you already receive through your RTH membership — it's an optional extra advertising opportunity.

FREE Extra Advertising Included

As an added bonus, businesses that join the bus campaign will also be included in some additional advertising I've already arranged for Rossendale Trades Hub.

Local Show Booklet

I've paid for a full-page advert in a booklet being distributed to people attending a local show.

Businesses involved in the bus campaign will be included within this additional exposure at no extra cost.

LED Screen Advertising

Rossendale Trades Hub will also be projected onto an LED screen before the performance and during the interval at the event.

Again, businesses joining the bus campaign will be included in this additional exposure.

So you're not just paying for the bus — I'm also looking to give the businesses involved as much additional exposure as possible through other RTH opportunities.

How Much Does It Cost?

The bus campaign is a 12-month commitment.

£100 upfront

+ £27 per month for 12 months

Including VAT

This is an optional extra on top of your normal Rossendale Trades Hub membership.

Your existing RTH subscription isn't changing.

Total cost over 12 months:

£424 including VAT

That's £100 upfront + £27 × 12 months.

Why Are We Doing This?

Rossendale Trades Hub isn't intended to be just another advertising platform.

The aim is to build something that gets local businesses seen, helps local customers find trusted trades and brings more attention to the amazing businesses we have around Rossendale.

Having a whole group of local businesses represented together on one bus is a great way of doing that.

Rather than advertising one business on its own, we're creating something that showcases local businesses working together while simultaneously building the RTH brand.

We Need Enough Businesses to Make It Happen

I need a minimum of 16 businesses involved for the campaign to work.

I've already had a number of businesses say they definitely want to be involved, but I need to know whether we can get enough businesses committed before I confirm the bus.

There's no payment needed at this stage.

I'm simply asking for an initial YES or NO so I can see whether we have enough interest to go ahead.

If we don't reach the minimum number this time, that's absolutely fine. I'll simply revisit the idea in the future when RTH has grown and we have more businesses involved.

With more businesses taking part in the future, there's also the potential for the individual cost to come down.
