Hi, I’m Dan, the owner of DK Electricals. I’m a local electrician who’s been in the trade since I was 18 years old, and I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands and solving problems. What started as a career quickly became something I’m genuinely passionate about.

I set up DK Electricals because I wanted to build a business that people could trust. I believe in turning up when I say I will, being honest with customers, taking pride in my work and treating every home with the same respect I’d expect in my own.

Whether it’s changing a light fitting, fault finding, installing new lighting or carrying out a full rewire, my aim is always to provide quality workmanship at a fair price.

Away from work, I’m a proud dad to three children, including a son with ADHD and another who is autistic. Raising neurodivergent children has given me a real understanding of the challenges that some families face, particularly when it comes to loud noises, changes to routine and having tradespeople working in the home.

That understanding inspired me to introduce sensory bags for appointments where there’ll be lots of drilling or noisy work. They include ear defenders, fidget toys, bubbles and other sensory-friendly items to help children feel more comfortable while I’m working. It’s a small gesture, but one that’s very close to my heart because I know first-hand how much these things can help families.

I’m proud to be part of the Rossendale community, and my goal is to provide reliable, high quality electrical work while making every customer feel comfortable, respected and looked after.
